2025 Audit Renewals

If you have been accepted into the QP Merit Program, your 2025 renewal invoice will only include administrative fees for the programs you currently hold. Current legacy SSPC RAP companies will be enrolled automatically in the QP Merit Program for 2025 but must reapply by July 1, 2025, for the 2026 season.

Additionally, the Maintenance Renewal Applications (for QP 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9, as well as QS1 and QN1), or QP5 Maintenance Renewal Application, with the appropriate documents are required and are due by December 15, 2025.

If you have not received your renewal notification by October 15th, it is your responsibility to contact us at QPApplications@ampp.org. There will be no exceptions on the late fees if not paid by the deadline this year. (We do not wish to assess late fees; however late submittals add significantly to the cost of processing renewal applications.) Please make sure you are keeping your contact information updated by sending an email of changes to QPApplications@ampp.org.

Help us, help you

If you have suggestions on facility owners, asset owners, or engineering firms that are not specifying QP for their projects, please share the contact information for that organization at QPInfo@ampp.org. We would be happy to reach out to them and enlighten them on the advantages of using a QP accredited contactor or inspection company.

Disciplinary Action Criteria (DAC) revisions

A task group was formed by the Accreditation Program Committee (APC) to update the Disciplinary Action Criteria (DAC) for accredited contractors and procedures for administering disciplinary action. The committee members felt that new and more stringent Disciplinary Action Criteria and administrative procedures were needed to supplement the annual and unannounced technical audits used prior to the DAC as the sole method for determining whether a contractor obtains or retains accreditation status. The new DAC has been approved by the APC and it is now in legal review.

Revised QP application and procedures

AMPP has revised the QP Accreditation Application and submittal procedures to simplify and streamline the application process for both initial applicants and for existing program members applying to add QP accreditations.

You can check out the new application and submittal instructions here.

QP Accreditation Program Rules update

The QP Accreditation Program Rules have been updated. The “Rules” document has been reorganized for easier understanding. While few changes to the rules were made in the update, several important clarifications were made including when Corrective Action Plans (CAPS) may be requested for ‘minor’ findings and when annual accreditation renewal applications and payments are due (being extended this year to December 31st, 2023, due to being sent late).

Please take a few minutes to review the program rules to ensure your organization is in compliance. Please contact us if you have any questions about the QP Program Rules update.
